"Three hundred and fifty-four pre-selected samples, 205 wines selected to take part in the general agricultural competition, 87 medals harvested Saturday morning, of which 25 in gold, 37 in silver and 25 in bronze: the figures speak for themselves. Once again, the wines of the Yonne have fulfilled their promises in Paris. And largely because never such rain of medals had fallen on the winegrowers of the department.
